FREE LANDSCAPING FOR LIFE GIVEAWAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Eligibility:
- The giveaway is open only to legal residents of Ohio, specifically those residing in the zip codes 43054, 43031, 43023, 43081, 43082, and 43021.
- Entrants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Employees of Marshals Outdoors, their immediate family members, and anyone living in the same household are not eligible to enter.
- Complete the Survey (Required): Participants must complete the Marshals Outdoors survey to enter the giveaway. The survey can be completed online or over the phone (25 entries).
- Additional entries can be earned through the following methods:
- Schedule a Consultation (Required): Contact Marshals Outdoors and schedule a landscape consultation to confirm eligibility.
- Follow Us on Social Media: Follow Marshals Outdoors’ social media accounts (10 entries per account followed).
- Share Our Pages: Share Marshals Outdoors’ Facebook and Instagram pages (15 entries per platform shared).
- Like and Share Posts: Earn 5 entries for each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) where you like and share posts (5 entries per post per platform).
- Make a Purchase: Spend $100 or more with Marshals Outdoors between September 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024 (10 entries for every $100 spent).
- Leave a Review: Earn 5 entries for leaving a review on Facebook, Google, or BBB if you’ve previously hired Marshals Outdoors. Reviews from individuals who have not hired us will be disqualified.
- Social Media Username Verification: If your social media username does not include your first and last name, you must message Marshals Outdoors privately with your full name and address to confirm your entries from following.
- There is no maximum number of entries allowed per participant. All entries will be tracked and recorded on the participant’s customer profile.
- All participants must agree to a landscape consultation at their property, during which Marshals Outdoors will verify the participant’s address and discuss their landscaping needs.
- Entry into the giveaway is contingent upon completing this consultation.
- One winner per eligible zip code will receive "Landscaping for Life," which includes all regular landscape maintenance services that Marshals Outdoors currently offers or will offer in the future.
- Included regular maintenance services are: minor tree trimming, spring clean-up, mulching, mowing, regular bed maintenance, fall clean-up, leaf removal, aeration, overseeding, and any other regular maintenance services added by Marshals Outdoors in the future.
- The prize is non-transferable, and only one property per entrant is eligible.
- If the winner sells their property, they will forfeit the "Landscaping for Life" prize. The prize is not transferable to a new owner or any other property.
- While there is no limit on the value of the services provided, the frequency of service will be determined by Marshals Outdoors' typical service schedule.
- A 1099 form will be issued to the winner for the value of the services provided.
- Each entry will be assigned a unique number.
- A random number generator will be used to select the winning entry for each zip code.
- The winner will be notified via email, phone, and the social media profile associated with their entries no later than January 14, 2025.
- The winner must accept the prize by January 31, 2025, or a new winner will be selected.
- The winner will also be publicly announced on all Marshals Outdoors social media platforms.
- Marshals Outdoors reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or otherwise violate the rules. This includes entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means.
- Marshals Outdoors is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, failures, or other issues that may prevent an entry from being received or processed. By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Marshals Outdoors from any liability, loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
- By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow Marshals Outdoors to use their name, likeness, and any provided materials for promotional purposes in any media without further compensation or approval, except where prohibited by law.
- In the event that the giveaway is prevented or interrupted by any event beyond Marshals Outdoors' control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, or any other force majeure event, Marshals Outdoors reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the giveaway.
- This giveaway and the official rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
- Participant data will be used for marketing, sales, and other internal purposes by Marshals Outdoors.
- Data will not be sold individually but may be included in a sale of the business.
- Participant information will not be shared with third parties.
- Marshals Outdoors reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway at any time without prior notice.
- By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Marshals Outdoors, which are final and binding in all respects.
- This giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
- All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
